We’re honored to reflect on the legacy of Chris Murzin, a cherished AtriCure colleague remembered for his selflessness, philanthropic spirit, and devotion to others. To carry his impact forward, AtriCure created the Chris Murzin Award, presented annually at our National Training Meeting to a field employee who exemplifies Chris’s compassion and commitment to community. As part of this recognition, AtriCure donates to a charitable cause chosen by the recipient.
This year’s honoree, Evan Lindberg, has made a meaningful difference in his local community. After identifying an unmet need at a nearby school, Evan took action. As a board member, he helped build a committee and nonprofit that now hosts an annual coat drive and collects classroom supplies for students in need.
Evan’s commitment to service reflects the values Chris championed, and we’re proud to celebrate his impact this National Volunteer Week.
